Army Dad Fights for Kids' Return from Bolivia
Donation protected
I am an Army veteran and the loving father of two young American children (ages 4 & 1) who have been removed to Bolivia by their mother. I have been a constant presence in my children's lives since the day they were born. However, I have not seen them since July and I know this removal is having an adverse impact on their well being. It is certainly negatively impacting my well being. I am afraid for the safety of my children and I am desperate to see them back home in the US.
I agreed to allow my children to travel to Bolivia this past summer for two weeks ending on August 13th. However, on August 14th (while I was conducting US Army Reserve training) their mother informed me by email that she did not plan to return to the US. Her actions violate the custody agreement that we signed in July and there is an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
This campaign will allow me to hire a reputable law firm in La Paz, which has been vetted by the State Department, in an effort to bring my children home. I will not be able to get my children back without legal representation in Bolivia. Please help me fulfill the most important mission of my life, to bring my children back home to the US where they belong.
