Hi my name is Brenda Spalding and I was on the gala committee from 1990 to 2003.

I was honoured to be invited to crown our gala Queen Molly this year 2025 .

I would like 2025 to be remembered for my family and Mollys, Luke’s, Lacey’s, Georgias and Auroras (our champion and queens) sake and for all our Armadale children and their families and not for the events which marred a great weekend.

Invoices have now been received for the damage to the marquee and toilets, cost totalling approx £3000.

My aim is to cover that through this GFM before we start officially fundraising again in September.

Its a big ask from our wee town, but we will rise above the idiots who did this damage.

Any money raised will mean a great start for 2026 gala day and ensure our children don’t miss out on any civic week festivities.

The people and businesses in Armadale and beyond are already very generous with donations of which the committee are extremely grateful, this is a one off, which will be open until the end of August
