Arlington’s Support for Lucky
Donation protected
My name is Rachel and along with a couple of other Arlington residents who share a deep love for animals and the Arlington community we are putting together this gofundme.
Update: We are absolutely blown away by the incredible outpouring of support for Lucky! Thanks to this amazing community, we’ve already reached our initial goal of $10,000. Seeing how many people care about Lucky and want to help him has been truly inspiring. With this unexpected level of support, we’ve decided to increase our goal to $20,000 to help cover more of his medical expenses and give him the best chance at recovery. Every contribution continues to make a huge impact. Thank you for being part of Lucky’s journey!
Initial Post: We are reaching out on behalf of the local family who is enduring an unimaginable ordeal. This past Saturday, Dec 21st, their beloved 20lb beagle, Lucky, was severely injured in a traumatic incident on Sunset Road between Summer and Forest Streets. Lucky suffered a spinal injury that has left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Since then, Lucky has undergone two emergency surgeries at the Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn and is currently recovering. While his family remains hopeful, his recovery journey is uncertain and will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and emotional support.
Lucky is not just a pet—he is a cherished member of this family. This unexpected and heartbreaking situation has not only taken an emotional toll but has also created significant expenses for his care. As a community, we have the opportunity to come together and support them during this difficult time.
This is a moment to show the strength and compassion of Arlington by helping a family and their beloved companion in their time of need. Together, we can make a difference and give Lucky the best chance at recovery while standing up for what’s right.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
