Arklow Boys Home, Negombo, Sri Lanka
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Máirín and I’m fundraising for Arklow Boys Home in Negombo, Sri Lanka.
The Home was set up by Irish businessman Brian Brennan following the devastating tsunami in 2004. It supports 30+ boys from the ages of 5-18 and is run by an amazing woman called Mallika.
Due to recent political unrest, economic crisis, and the pandemic, prices of essentials in Sri Lanka have increased. These essentials include food, educational materials, electricity, and medical expenses.
I was lucky enough to visit the Home in 2018 and am returning in August. The Home provides a safe, loving family for these boys and their care for each other is humbling.
Arklow Boys Home will receive 100% of the donations. The money will go towards education, sport, and daily running expenses. Your donation is hugely appreciated and will make such a difference to the boys’ lives.
Thank you.
