Arizona Homeless & their Dogs

Yesterday I prayed for guidance to an issue that has been weighing heavily on my heart..... Homelessness should not be an issue in this country but the reality is, it is a problem. Many homeless people have dogs and here in Arizona, we have very Hot summers where the ground is much too hot for their little paws. These people love their pets just as much as you or I love ours. They are family to them and often a homeless person will go without food in order to feed their companion.
After much searching within myself what came to me
was the idea of what I'm calling "Lift up Packs". These packs are for those in need and their pets. Currently, in Maricopa County alone there are over 25,000 homeless people many with dogs. They live on the street, in their cars, or bounce from shelter to shelter.(Many shelters do not allow animals).My packs include items such as bottled water, healthy snacks, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body wipes, tissue, bandaids, socks and other items. I have special dog packs which include food, a flea collar, 2 collapsible water/food bowls, dog socks to help protect their feet from the scorching pavement and a toy.
I will hand deliver these Lift up Packs on a regular basis to those in need as well as to shelters across the Maricopa County area.
Sometimes the smallest gesture can change a person's entire existence. Please help me provide these lift up packs to those in need and their dogs across this beautiful but HOT Arizona land.
