Funds for Ari Marcel Pierson-Kossari
Our beloved Armon Kossari left this world on Thursday, June 24 doing what he loved – riding his motorcycle. In lieu of flowers and as a response to everyone’s questions of “what can we do to help?”, we’ve setup a fund in support of his beautiful bundle of joy, Ari Marcel Pierson-Kossari.
This fund will be managed by Armon’s parents, Majid and Labkhand Kossari and will be used to support everything Ari will need for his life without his father.

In Loving Memory of Armon Kossari
January 14, 1998 - June 24, 2021
Armon was brought to this world by his father, Majid Kossari, and his mother, Labkhand (Kaviani) Kossari on January 14, 1998. And he had a fire about him since he was born. He dazzled everyone with his big eyes and sweet cheeks and the charm never left. Armon was the way youngest of three and was treated like a prince in all the best ways. Sure enough, Armon would be checking himself out in the mirror, splashing water in his hair and making sure he looked perfect – at the ripe age of 4. He knew he was a star all along.
Armon grew up in a wonderful neighborhood of friends from Stone Mill Elementary and always had a crew with him. Sometimes they were his age, sometimes they were younger and sometimes they were older. Armon not only kept up, but he could slow down. He could be friends with anyone.
Armon continued through to Cabin John Middle School and then Thomas Wootton High School where he graduated early from in 2015 because he wanted to do the bare minimum to be finished with school. Actually, he was only 3 years old when he told his mom “I only want to go to school for one more day. Ok, mom? That’s it - just one more day.”
Armon knew that pursuing higher education wasn’t for him. Although he made an attempt to appease his parents with some classes at community college, Armon wanted to focus on his passions and dreams. He’s always known what he wanted and he always knew how to make it happen.
Growing up, Armon got to enjoy and partake in a range of activities – from soccer to swimming to ripsticks and everything in between. Our family got to witness his Karate journey as he trained his way to a second-degree black belt. We were captivated by the songs he would write and play on the piano. And if you knew where to look, you could find his latest art and craft project somewhere. He’s produced beats and songs. He collected and built complex Lego structures and models. And he was always trying something new – wood burning, silver work, video editing – the list forever continues. Armon truly was a renaissance man.
And now we have an entire gallery worth of Armon’s collection of paintings, an inventory of BMW motorcycle parts, recordings of his piano pieces, social media profiles filled with car and bike footage and countless collections of different knick knacks that he saved for his arts and crafts.
Armon not only dreamed but he made his dreams come true. His legacy in the biker community all started with our family’s inherent need for speed. His first car was his grandfather’s manual Toyota Celica but he moved onto BMWs and he hadn’t looked back since. From car meets to flipping used cars, Armon was diving deeper and deeper into this world. He eventually started bringing a camera to meets and started his content journey of capturing these visions he sees. And it wasn’t just about making money or showing off the latest and greatest, Armon was making friends, building community, and exploring his passions. Sure enough, cars weren’t cutting it anymore and that’s when he discovered Bike Life.
It seemed almost instantaneous that Armon went from a brand new beginner rider to being known across the Washington, DC area as one of the best and fastest motorcycle riders around. He was born to ride and had the talent to be professional. Armon was notorious for never losing a race. And not only was he a natural rider, he was constantly meeting new people and pulling them into the community. He built a reputation for being so dependable, always looking out for everyone, never judging anyone he met, and just being the bright fire that we’ve always known him to be.
Just last year, Armon found out he was going to be a dad with his longtime girlfriend, Cassidy Pierson - and he was ecstatic. Armon got right into gear and started his rounds of planning and preparing. He celebrated the baby’s gender reveal in the most Armoni way possible - with his friends in front of our family home causing a ruckus and burning tires on the street - loud and exciting - a stage fit for a Biker King. Although imagining our sweet young Armon as a dad at 23 seemed daunting, our whole family could not wait for a new baby Kossari.
And on December 14, one month before Armon’s birthday, Ari Marcel Pierson Kossari was born. Armon jumped right into dad duties immediately and surprised everyone with his level of effort, attention and doting over Cassidy - or at least before the exhaustion of parenthood kicked in. Armon was so excited and proud to be a dad. He knew to immediately ask the nurse how to change a diaper. And although he was a new dad, he was around his parents and Cassidy, who jointly guided him through fatherhood.
Ari is literally a bundle of joy. He radiates with love and laughter yet is so cool and laid back. With his dad’s big deep eyes and bouncy energy, Ari could not be a more perfect gift from Armon. And as grateful as we were when he was born, we had no idea how much we’d need him now. Ari is nothing short of a miraculous blessing and his pure existence will help heal us and carry us forward.
Armon has left behind countless broken hearts, yet we must never forget that he left this world doing what he loved – living his dreams. Armon lived a life so full and has experienced more than most. His loss will be mourned but we are at peace knowing he lived his life exactly how he wanted to. With fire.
