Ariel's Bar Mitzvah - Tefillin Chessed Project
Donation protected
This week, I celebrated my Hanachat Tefillin - putting on Tefillin for the first time. It was meaningful, special and made me so excited to be getting closer to becoming Bar Mitzvah.
Now, when I put on my Tefillin at shul, it is an instant reminder to be grateful for all of my blessings. With tension rising in Israel, yet again, I pray for our brothers and sisters there facing such tough times. I appreciate and admire all the people who protect our country and I keep thinking of them during my davening.
In the lead up to my Bar Mitzvah, I am trying to dedicate some energy, time and money to make a meaningful impact in Israel. I have decided to do a Tefillin Project in collaboration with a reputable charity in Israel called Just One Chessed, and I would love you to take part!
My project will honour a courageous individual who has lost their life in this war by gifting a pair of Tefillin in their memory to someone in need who wants to take on the Mitzvah of Tefillin. Each pair of Tefillin will create a positive legacy and ensure the memory of the fallen, lives on through mitzvot. This connection also shows soldiers and their families that people around the world are praying and supporting them during these challenging times.
Please consider donating $18 (chai) to my Tefillin Chessed Project as I focus on creating an opportunity to spread mitzvot and connect to Israel at this important time in my life. I hope that this extra bit of chessed, can ensure we celebrate in calmer, more peaceful times.
