Aric's Washington D.C. Internship

Dear family, friends, and colleagues,

I was recently accepted into the Cal in the Capital Summer cohort at 
UC Berkeley. This program will allow me to intern amongst some of the brightest minds and largest public figures making an impact in this
country and all around the world. As a political science major and
public policy minor, this is the perfect program for me to get my foot in the door to the world of politics; ensuring an unforgettable experience,
firsthand knowledge in my field, and memories that will surely last a
lifetime.

The program itself is rather expensive because many internships in this field are unpaid and I am required to provide my own housing while
living in the D.C. area. I was previously planning on funding this 
experience on my own through my savings and from working over the
course of the next semester, but an auto accident in which I was 
recently hit by a DUI driver which totaled my car had an untimely and 
unexpected impact on my funds.

The money from this GoFundMe campaign will be used to cover the 
cost of housing, travel expenses, and the basic cost of living for
essentials like food and supplies.

The support from this campaign would mean the world to me because
it would allow me to engage in this incredible, once in a lifetime
journey. It is because of the support of all of you at some point in my lifethat my journey has taken me to where I am today and I am
forever grateful for that. Thank you so much for your time, love, and
