ABOUT THE EVENT:

On Tuesday, April 8th, the last day of classes and my actual birthday, I am hosting a charity event for UNICEF. Like a normal party, it will have games, drinks, food, and prizes. Here's the twist: I’m betting $50 that professors will show up to my birthday party, and if I'm wrong, I'll donate to charity.

ABOUT THE YOUTUBE VIDEO:

Given all that’s happening in the world, shock advertising can lead to empathy fatigue that’s overwhelming and easier to avoid. This event is designed to make donating to charity fun and entertaining.

Inspired by the Netflix film, "The Swimmers" which tells the story of two child refugees escaping Syria’s civil war, I realized that I wanted to produce impactful films that encourage others to take action.
