Oaklyn Paige Argo was born on July 11th. She was full term, delivered by C-Section yet had what is called low tone which is characteristic of a premature birth. That condition has improved greatly since her birth. The bigger issue Oaklyn faces is she can't eat and breath at the same time. That causes food to go into her sinus cavity and lungs. She will undergo surgery to insert a feeding tube into her stomach. Once she recovers from the surgery she will be able to go home. The tube will be in for at least 6 months.
John and Christina are grateful for all the prayers and have seen God do amazing things in Oaklyn's short life. They will be facing some significant medical bills along with other financial issues due to a loss of income because of the baby's extended hospitalization.
