I would like to introduce you to the Karam family — a family of six:

the mother, Tahreer; the father, Karam; and their four sons: Mahmoud (16), Abdulrahman (14), Mohammed (13), and Ali (10), who suffers from vitiligo — a skin condition that has worsened due to malnutrition and lack of medical care.

It has been two years of war, destruction, and displacement, and the family is still suffering from its painful aftermath.

Their home was completely destroyed, and every source of income vanished. For nearly two years, they have been moving from one tent to another, struggling to survive amid cold nights, hunger, and disease — without a real shelter or any stable income.

Karam: A loving father who lost everything — his home, his job, and his stability — but never lost hope.

His only dream is to see his children live safely, go to school, and feel warmth again after two years of suffering.

Tahreer: A strong and devoted mother who continues to fight each day to feed her children and keep them safe.

She asks for nothing more than a simple, dignified life for her four sons — after two years of fear, cold, and tears.
