Ardee Christmas Light Fundraising Campaign 2022

Ardee Traders and Business Association is a voluntary organisation and has been looking after the Christmas lights for our town.

As we all know, the Christmas lights display has suffered due to a lack of investment over the last number of years. In particular, the last two years have been difficult due to Covid 19.

 

As an organisation we have made Christmas street lighting our main priority for 2022. Our ambition for Ardee is to create a positive community atmosphere during the festive season. and to bring some light back after Covid!

 

A street plan has been prepared. Some of the images are attached and as you can see it will be amazing!

For us all to achieve this goal, the cost is €160,000. We have successfully secured grant funding of €97,000 from Louth Leader. The remaining €60,000 will require donations from the Ardee community.
