Ard Greine Court, Stranolar,

I am running the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon on October 28th 2018 in the hope of Fundraising for a Place very close to Myself and Elaine's Family.  For alot of you unaware that  Ard Greine Court / Formely the Sean O Hare Unit,  Stranolar, Co Donegal has been the residence of My Sister Bernadette and Elaine's Uncle Jimmy and (late) Aunt Maureen all who have been born with intellectual disabilites and have resided there under the attentive and caring Management and Staff for over 30 years. 
Ard Greine Court, provides a home and support for 43 people with Intellectual Disabilities in Donegal.  Where they are committed to actively promoting each person’s independence in the community in which they live.
 They support Residents by providing a comfortable, homely and safe environment.  They provide a high standard of person centred care, based on evidence based practice and ensure that adequate support is in place to meet individually assessed needs.  They help develop service user’s social skills and relationships, and support Residents to enjoy facilities on site and in the community.
 
Like most homes there is always area for upgrading and lack of funds stops this, hopefully what I fundraise will go a small way to help....
