Help Archie Gain Independence and Safety with a Seizure Detection Assistance Dog! Hello old friends, new friends and family.
We’re reaching out with a heartfelt request for our little man Archie. At just 5 years old Archie faces daily challenges due to Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, a severe Visual impairment and struggles with emotional regulation.
We’ve explored many avenues to provide him with the best care possible, and we’ve learned that a specially trained assistance dog could be life-changing for him. This dog would not only be a constant companion for Archie but also a crucial lifeline. With seizure detection abilities, the dog could alert us before a seizure occurs, giving us time to ensure Archie is in a safe and secure environment. The dog’s mobility support would empower Archie to gain more independence within his world while its calming presence would offer much-needed emotional regulation during overwhelming moments.
However, the cost of acquiring and training such a specialized dog is significant—upwards of $35,000. This amount covers not only the selection and training of the dog but also its ongoing care and support services to ensure it’s perfectly suited to Archie’s unique needs.
We know this is a large sum, but we believe in the power of community and the kindness of people like you.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us one step closer to giving Archie the safety, independence, and comfort he deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering supporting Archie’s journey.
Your generosity will not only change his life but also give our family peace of mind, knowing that Archie will have a constant guardian by his side.
With love and gratitude The Walters Family
