Australia supporting the Arava
Donation protected
My name is Adi, a kindergarten teacher at Mount Scopus Memorial College in Melbourne, Australia.
Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of being an active member of a unique initiative called the ‘Twin kinder Project’ a program connecting Jewish kinder’s across Australia with the Israeli kindergartens in the Arava.
As we are all painfully aware, a devastating war has broken out in our homeland. Many families have been separated, children segregated from their parents as a result of the atrocious acts of terrorism forcing Jewish families into hiding.
Currently, the Arava community are hosting those children and parents that survived the terror attacks providing them with food, shelter and a temporary place they can call home. The people of Arava have opened their homes and hearts lovingly accepting all seeking support.
Currently, the Arava community are in dire need of donations to provide warm meals, clothing and supplies for infants and children.
The funds will be transferred immediately to the Arava community leaders for this purpose. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Let’s show them the strength and compassion of our community.
TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER!
“Giving the families who went through hell and run for their lives a break - music - food and gathering while we are giving them Shelter in the Arava .Especially these children our future! A small smile on their faces!!!” ( Jonathan Hermes ~ head organiser)
Thank you
