The Association of Punjabis at Rutgers University is a student-led cultural organization dedicated to celebrating Punjabi culture while giving back to the local New Brunswick community. Through our Community Service Committee, we run initiatives that support education and community well-being, including APRU Reads, a program inspired by Read Across America where our members visit local elementary schools to read with students and promote a love for learning.
This fundraiser supports our APRU Reads school supply donation drive, which provides essential supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and backpacks to students in grades K–5. Many families face financial barriers when it comes to purchasing school supplies, and our goal is to help ensure students feel prepared and supported in the classroom. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a direct impact. Thank you for supporting APRU Reads and investing in our community’s students.
