Hi, my name is Zoey, I'm 14 years old, and I'm fundraising for my mother. For those of you who know my mother, April Wilds, you'll know that she has experienced multiple medical traumas and diagnoses, especially over the past six months. She is currently a single mom of two teenagers (14 and 13.) She's not able to work due to multiple surgeries and physical disabilities since May 2023. Because her primary income has been Medical EI (employment insurance) that means that unfortunately, as of March 9th, she will not be eligible to receive any payment from employment insurance. Those who know my mom will also know she doesn't ask for help, so I've take the initiative to ask for help for her.
