We are raising funds in loving memory of April Whincup, a devoted wife to Luke and an incredible mum to her little boy, Hugo, who sadly passed away far too soon at just 31 years old. April was a truly special person - bright, full of life, with a cheeky sense of humour and a laugh that could light up any room. She had an infectious energy that made everyone around her smile, and she brought so much warmth to those lucky enough to know her.

Behind that smile, April showed a level of strength and resilience that was nothing short of extraordinary. Living with Lupus from the age of 14, being on life support at the age of 16, undergoing chemotherapy, multiple kidney transplants, and spending years on dialysis, she faced more than most ever will - yet so few truly knew the extent of what she carried. She always put on a brave face for the world, especially for her little Hugo.

Due to her lifelong health struggles, April was never able to take out life insurance, and so any funds raised will go directly towards supporting Hugo during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter how small, will help provide some comfort and stability as they adjust to life without her by their side.
