Please help if you can. We have to pay a deposit.

Please help, if you can, family,Facebook Family and Friends. We (myself and my 2 adopted grandchildren) have been staying in a shelter since April of 2025. My youngest daughter, "Faith ,"

passed away in 2017. I adopted Isaiah and Imani in 2020.

Our last lease was cut from 12 months to 6 months, but I couldn't find a new apartment quickly enough,

to avoid having to go to this shelter.

I later found out that the landlord, cutting us short on the lease was illegal. She also refused to give us back our deposit.

It is very hard to find an inexpensive rental. I thank God that we finally got approved. We just need help to pay the deposit money to the realtor.

Isaiah and Imani and I really need help now to move to a 2 bedroom apartment. They will have their own bedrooms and I will camp out on a day bed , in the living area.

The 3 of us are now sleeping in one room with 3 cots. We have been going to the library and DoorDashing almost every day. I had to purchase 2 box fans because the AC unit here has rusty vents. We made $191. in the last 2 days. I used most of it to get us food, do laundry, buy bottled water, laundry soap, toilet paper, personal needs, medicine, hand sanitizer and gas for our car.

When I have searched for an apartment, they always ask for a cosigner or 3 times the rent as the salary requirement. I have 2 times the rent, but not 3 times the rent. I have paid to fill out applications at least 4 times, only for them to tell me my credit score needs 7 more points. One application fee was $100, one was $60, and one was $35. I finally filled out one last week and it cost $50. Praise the Lord, it was approved!

Our car had to get brakes and rotors, so that set us back a bit financially. Keeping gas in the car and getting laundry done is costly also. The other bills have been phone bill and 2 storage bills. We desperately need $1750 for the deposit and $300 to get our furniture and clothing moved from the storage unit to our new apartment.

We are praying for another miracle,.

It is answered prayer , that we finally got approved for this apartment. It is near church and in the 19151 zip code.

We have to go to the laundromat every 4 or 5 days. We were limited on the amount of clothing we could bring to the shelter. We bought 5 outfits each. The washer and dryers have been broken here at the shelter since April 2025. That's why I posted a photo at the laundromat.
