Appreciation for ICU Frontliners
Donation protected
Dearest friends, family, colleagues, and community,
Our names are Nicole Padiernos and Taylor Knoefel. We are ICU registered nurses in San Diego, CA. Along with 10 other registered nurses, we form a unit practice council that helps support the nurses in our ICU. We meet every month to work on projects to enhance the work environment, decrease burnout, and improve processes.
Because of COVID-19, all of our normal projects have been put on hold. In light of this, our practice council decided that we would like to gift each employee in our ICU with a token of appreciation to acknowledge and thank everyone's hard work and dedication during this extremely difficult time.
We have 100 employees and our budget is $100, totaling only $1 per person. Our council was hoping that you would be able to help us. Humbly, we are seeking your aid in the form of donations. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will be used towards the token of appreciation for each ICU employee, such as water bottles/tumblers, badge holder, stress balls, etc.
When we decided to reach out to our friends, family, colleagues, and companies, we could not help but be extremely thankful for the outreach that has already occurred. However, we noticed that many are seeking ways to help and support frontliners but are unsure of how. This is our way of accepting the help all of you are so kindly offering.
Thank you for your time, consideration, love, support, and generosity.
