In 2014, I opened Applause HD Hair Salon in Charlotte with a dream of creating a space where beauty, confidence, and community come together. Nearly a decade later, in 2023, we expanded by adding Applause HD Nail & Spa inside Northlake Mall. As a proud Charlotte native, my goal has always been to make a lasting impact—especially by preparing future professionals for success in the beauty industry.

Now, we’re taking that vision even further with the launch of the Applause HD Student Internship Program—a mentorship and training initiative designed to help students gain real-world experience and career readiness skills in a supportive, professional environment.

This program will partner with local high schools, trade programs, and colleges to provide hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for students who are eager to learn but need access to real salon settings.
