Appeal for Elijah
Donation protected
Our family are trying to raise funds to help with an appeal for our son Elijah.
Elijah is 26 and has Aspergers Syndrome ( Autism). He is currently in a prison in Wales, where he has been for nearly 7 months. In August Elijah was found guilty in court of a crime he did not commit. He has been treated so unfairly by the justice system from the start,as currently, despite legislation, the police and courts are not giving people with Autism the support they are supposed to receive. Elijah has struggled throughout this process without that help and we are now, as a family, in the position that legal aid will not fund appeals.
We now have a private legal firm from Manchester representing Elijah who feel he has been treated unjustly, and are prepared to take his case and appeal forward in order to clear his name and get him home to his family who love and miss him so much.
Unfortunately we are not in a position to fund all the costs for our son's appeal, as this is a very costly process going forward.
Thank you so much for reading this.
