Appeal fees for my son

As you may know I have been working through a custody dispute for primary custody of my son against his mom. I have been taking care of him for the past 4 years by myself in Alaska while his mom ran off to Oregon giving no financial help to myself or Ari, I have been fortunate to have primary interim custody for the last year during the hearings. This time that I have had the fortune of spending with my son has been great for us both. He has been able to spend time with his extended family and I have worked hard to facilitate a relationship with his mother during his time in Alaska. Ari has expressed his desire to stay in Alaska with me and his extended family. Unfortunately, in December the court found against me and ordered that he will be moving to Oregon where his mother will have primary custody and I will only get to see my son in the summers and the holidays every other year.

 In its decision, the court cited that the only negative factor found against me were the legal cannabis plants I grow in my house, claiming that I was exposing my son to drugs in my household.

I believe this is a miscarriage of justice and I, with the support of my legal team, am appealing the judge’s decision. Unfortunately, this is an awfully expensive process. My legal team has offered to help me as much as they can, but I still need more help to make this happen. I am asking for support from family, friends, and the cannabis community to help me in my fight for my son and to correct this injustice.
