They were in Manaus, now moved to Brasilia that is a state in Mideast. Her dad is lost.

HOW CAN A COURT AGREE with a child without a stable place to live and no school ?

ADDED: I have been forbidden from seeing Emmy in person Since August 18. We spent 2 years trying to explain to the court what would happen when a child cross the US board, and unfortunately the court could not understand us. Or the court does not care!

Yesterday we received an official letter from Emmy’s father (I added here as update) stating he is in Brazil, he is not sending Emmy back to USA and from now he will follow up with Brazil court and ignore US court decision.

We could build a protection to Emmy and I during years with the help of our community and the court and from nothing someone came and broke the wall.

Emmy and I are vulnerable.

My child is in Brazil living under her grandma’s house because they don’t have even a roof to sleep. She is not in school, she has no doctor, she has no friends. I am praying her grandma will let them stay there as longer as possible and watch out. As you all know my parents don’t live in Manaus.

He was not allowed to call me, text, know my address (it is confidencial), exchange at police station. All of this for a reason, my safety, Emmy’s safety. Court came and broke the walls. Soon after the court order letting him travel with Emmy to Brazil, He tried to convince me move to Florida for a “fresh start” , he wanted to meet me alone, I said NO. Because I denied his request, he jump in airplane and now is not letting me see Emmy.

Go to Brazil will put me in danger, and make things worse because he has Emmy right now. It is how people like him works, it is all about trying to punish and threat to have the victim back.

I am doing my best to be strong, I am grateful for my community. I am happy for all my friends. As I said many times Michigan is Emmy and my home. I truly believe the Appeal court will make sure the justice is served, because I don’t trust in Ingham County.

The judge let him take EC to Brazil without determining any parenting time.

The Court of Appeal has ordered the lower court set up a parenting time.

The appeal was filed but we need the transcripts to file the briefs. Since this court order was entered I have been forbidden to see Emmy.

I am the victim of domestic violence, and my ex-husband has been using all his power to take our daughter's custody from me. As soon as I filed for divorce in Brazil in 2018, he canceled my USA Visa (I do have a work permit now after years of trying to fix his actions). He also filed a second divorce process in the USA just to punish me.

Today I have two judges and 4 attorneys in both countries resolving the matter issue of DIVORCE. I have both cases open by my ex-husband's actions in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. I was divorced in Brazil in 2021, but the case is still open.

I was never divorced in USA. I never received a Judgement of Divorce. I have been a client of an organization that helps victims of domestic violence since November 2018.

It is why I am surviving.

This Go Fund Me is to bring this matter to Court of Appeal confronting the Ingham court order to take Emmy away from her community and her Mom. Emmy is US Citizen.

She was born and has lived her whole life in Ingham County - USA

She has been outside the USA for 15 vacation.

Emmy's doctors, friends and community are in Ingham County.

She has done Preschool and Kindergarten at Red Cedar Elementary School and she is enrolled for 1st grade. Emmy is doing summer camp at Hanna Community Center with some of her classmates and YMCA.

She is a student at Ann's Dance Studio since she was 3yo, she loves to go to Impression 5, Potter park zoom, and Hawk Island.

My Ex husband was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking twice, but he has the money to pay a criminal attorney, allowing him to remain free to keep stalking me. He is responding to a criminal case in Brazil as well for stealing Federal money. For me, returning to Brazil will put me in danger since there is no protection.

My embassy has advised they can not protect me if I am there. In the USA, the police have a fast response time.
