Appalachia Service Project - Kentucky 2023

Donation protected
This July 2023, a group of 8 people from four families will head to Kentucky to work for the Appalachia Service Project. The week will be filled with construction projects to improve the living conditions of the community focusing on the mission that is warmer, safer, drier. This summer, we will go to Knott County, Kentucky. This area was badly hit by a thousand-year flood event that devastated the community. Our goal is to arrive and help to repair or build the homes that were damaged.

We hope to bring some money along with us to inject into the community by purchasing snacks and supplies.

For the 8 of us to go, we aim to raise 2,000. We were able to reduce our total because we have only 8 group members now and we will not need to rent a vehicle, thus saving us a lot of money!

Whatever you can do to help will end up helping a family in Appalachia after the floods of 2022!

Thank you!
