Mi nombre es Patricia Ontiveros, y soy tía de Brenda Michelle Cortes Blas, la mamá afectada por esta dolorosa tragedia. Con profundo respeto, hoy abro esta campaña para apoyar a mi sobrina y a su familia después del incendio que ocurrió en su hogar en Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, la madrugada del martes 9 de diciembre, alrededor de las 2:45 a.m.

En este siniestro, la familia perdió casi todo lo material: su casa, ropa, muebles y pertenencias básicas. Lo más devastador e irreparable es que su niña de 4 años, Lia Guadalupe Rincon Cortes, perdió la vida durante el incendio, dejando un vacío inmenso en el corazón de su mamá, su papá y toda la familia. Además, su bebé de 1 año, Adriel Antonio Rincon Cortes, se encuentra en estado delicado en la Clínica 66 del IMSS. Los médicos explicaron que Adriel sufrió una lesión pulmonar por inhalación de humo, lo que lo llevó a necesitar apoyo respiratorio y atravesar momentos muy críticos. También ha presentado varios episodios de paro cardiorrespiratorio, pero continúa aferrándose a la vida con una fortaleza admirable.

Actualmente, los médicos están evaluando la posibilidad de trasladarlo a otra institución que cuente con más equipo o especialidades, si lo consideran necesario para su recuperación.

La familia está viviendo una situación inmensamente dolorosa y difícil. Además del duelo por la pérdida de la pequeña Lia y la preocupación constante por Adriel, enfrentan la realidad de haberse quedado sin hogar y sin lo básico para continuar su día a día.

¿Cómo se utilizarán los fondos?

Funeral digno para la pequeña Lia Guadalupe, como un gesto de amor y respeto hacia su vida.

Atención médica de Adriel Antonio, incluyendo medicamentos, estudios, tratamientos, equipo especializado y un posible traslado a otra institución si los médicos lo determinan.

Apoyo básico para que la familia pueda comenzar a recuperarse, como ropa, artículos de higiene, alimentos y ayuda temporal para vivienda o inicio de reconstrucción del hogar perdido.

Sabemos que los tiempos son difíciles para todos, y que no siempre es posible donar grandes cantidades. Con el corazón en la mano, queremos decir que cualquier ayuda —por pequeña que sea— hace una enorme diferencia. Cada aporte es un rayo de esperanza para esta familia que enfrenta uno de los momentos más duros de su vida.

My name is Patricia Ontiveros, and I am the aunt of Brenda Michelle Cortes Blas, the mother affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. With deep respect, I am creating this fundraiser to support my niece and her family after the fire that occurred in their home in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 9th, around 2:45 a.m.

In this tragic event, the family lost nearly all their material belongings—clothes, furniture, their home, and essential items. The most devastating and irreparable loss is that Brenda’s 4-year-old daughter, Lia Guadalupe Rincon Cortes, lost her life during the fire, leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of her parents and the entire family. In addition, her 1-year-old baby boy, Adriel Antonio Rincon Cortes, is in delicate condition at IMSS Clinic 66. Doctors explained that Adriel suffered a lung injury due to smoke inhalation, requiring respiratory support and enduring several critical moments. He has also experienced multiple cardiorespiratory arrest episodes, yet continues fighting for his life with admirable strength.

Doctors are currently evaluating the possibility of transferring him to another medical institution with more equipment or specialized care, if they determine it is necessary for his recovery.

The family is facing an incredibly painful and overwhelming situation. Along with the grief of losing little Lia and the constant concern for Adriel, they now face the reality of having lost their home and all basic necessities.

How the funds will be used

A dignified funeral for little Lia Guadalupe, as a gesture of love and respect for her life.

Medical care for baby Adriel Antonio, including medications, tests, treatments, specialized equipment, and a possible transfer to another institution if medically required.

Basic support to help the family begin rebuilding, such as clothing, hygiene items, food, and temporary housing or initial reconstruction of their lost home.

We know times are difficult for everyone, and not everyone can give large amounts. With all our heart, we want to say that any help—no matter how small—makes a tremendous difference. Every contribution becomes a ray of hope for this family as they face one of the hardest moments of their lives.
