Hello, my name is Felipe Garcia, I live in Japan with my wife, who is currently 5 months pregnant. Today, we are asking for your support during a very important and challenging moment for our family.

We believed that my wife's mother would be able to help us during this time, but unfortunately she has strongly rejected our relationship because I am a foreigner. This has created a difficult emotional situation for my wife, who is already under stress during such a sensitive stage of her pregnancy. Her mother’s rejection makes everything even harder, especially because we will not have any family support once the baby is born.

Even though we both work, our income will not be enough to cover the next 6 months, which are the most critical for the pregnancy and the baby's first needs. We only ask for support during this period; after that, we are confident that we will be able to move forward on our own again.

Additionally, my wife’s employer continues to assign her heavy physical work and late hours despite knowing that she is pregnant, seemingly pushing her to quit so she loses her legal maternity protections. No woman should have to go through this situation during pregnancy.
