Hello, my name is Katherine Rosales, and I would like to share a very special and difficult part of my life.

On October 3rd of this year, I had a serious accident that completely changed my life. While I was riding my bicycle on my way to work, a car hit me, causing me to fall very hard. The driver ran away, and that moment marked the beginning of one of the most challenging chapters of my life.

As a result of the impact, my jaw was completely fractured, and I lost several teeth. Since then, I have been going through a very painful recovery process — both physically and emotionally.

On October 10th, I had my first surgery to reconstruct my jaw, and on November 3rd, I will have to go through a second surgery.

Unfortunately, I don’t have medical insurance, and the expenses have been extremely high. So far, my medical bills are around $27,000, not including the upcoming treatments and procedures that are still pending.

I live with constant pain. I can’t open my mouth completely — even yawning hurts. The screws holding my jaw together create pressure, and sometimes it feels like my teeth are going to explode. Even the small amount of liquid food I can take causes intense pain, because the nerves in my broken teeth are exposed.

This is only the first phase of my recovery. Once my jaw heals, I will have to start the next phase — dental reconstruction, which will also be long and expensive.

Despite the pain, the uncertainty, and the lonely days filled with worry, I have felt God’s presence guiding me through it all. This journey is not only about physical healing, but also about spiritual healing.

Even in moments when my faith has been shaken, I have felt that the Lord holds me, and that strength keeps me going. Today, I come to you with faith and hope, asking for your support.

Your help will allow me to continue my treatment, recover, and hopefully smile again without pain.
