<div>Hello, my name is Katherine Rosales, and I would like to share a very special and difficult part of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On October 3rd of this year, I had a serious accident that completely changed my life. While I was riding my bicycle on my way to work, a car hit me, causing me to fall very hard. The driver ran away, and that moment marked the beginning of one of the most challenging chapters of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a result of the impact, my jaw was completely fractured, and I lost several teeth. Since then, I have been going through a very painful recovery process — both physically and emotionally.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On October 10th, I had my first surgery to reconstruct my jaw, and on November 3rd, I will have to go through a second surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, I don’t have medical insurance, and the expenses have been extremely high. So far, my medical bills are around $27,000, not including the upcoming treatments and procedures that are still pending.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I live with constant pain. I can’t open my mouth completely — even yawning hurts. The screws holding my jaw together create pressure, and sometimes it feels like my teeth are going to explode. Even the small amount of liquid food I can take causes intense pain, because the nerves in my broken teeth are exposed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is only the first phase of my recovery. Once my jaw heals, I will have to start the next phase — dental reconstruction, which will also be long and expensive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite the pain, the uncertainty, and the lonely days filled with worry, I have felt God’s presence guiding me through it all. This journey is not only about physical healing, but also about spiritual healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even in moments when my faith has been shaken, I have felt that the Lord holds me, and that strength keeps me going. Today, I come to you with faith and hope, asking for your support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your help will allow me to continue my treatment, recover, and hopefully smile again without pain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because I know that God touches good hearts, and every act of love returns multiplied.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
</div>
<div>— Matthew 25:40 ✨
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for listening to my story, for your prayers, and for being part of my healing.
</div>
