Hola a todos, mi nombre es Eliana Acosta hoy me acerco a ustedes con el corazón en la mano y una carga muy pesada sobre mis hombros.

​Recientemente acabo de dar a luz a mi tercer bebé. Debería ser un momento de total alegría, pero la realidad es que me encuentro en una situación sumamente difícil. Mi esposo, Jorge, se encuentra detenido y enfrentando un proceso legal migratorio muy complejo.

​Actualmente, me encuentro sola al cuidado de mis tres hijos, incluyendo a mi bebé recién nacido. Como se imaginarán, estar en el postparto y ser el único apoyo para mis niños es un reto inmenso, pero lo más preocupante es que no contamos con los recursos para cubrir los gastos legales necesarios para ayudar a Jorge a regresar con nosotros.

​Jorge es el pilar de nuestro hogar, un hombre trabajador que siempre ha velado por nuestra familia. Sin él, nos hemos quedado desprotegidos económicamente en el momento en que más lo necesitamos.

Today I come to you with a heavy heart and a heavy burden on my shoulders.

I recently gave birth to my third child. It should be a moment of pure joy, but the reality is that I find myself in an extremely difficult situation. My husband, Jorge, is detained and facing a very complex immigration legal process.

Currently, I am alone caring for my three children, including my newborn. As you can imagine, being postpartum and being the sole support for my children is an immense challenge, but what is most worrying is that we do not have the resources to cover the legal expenses necessary to help Jorge return to us.

Jorge is the pillar of our home, a hard-working man who has always looked after our family. Without him, we have been left financially unprotected at the time when we need him most.
