Support trans women from the third-world who are ex-prisoners rescuing their memory.
Trans y Fugas is an organization that rescues the memory of trans girls from the third world, in relation to prison, delinquency, their acts of survival, resilience and escape from the heterosexual regime.
This is a project created by Laura Glover, a trans sex worker from northern Mexico, who socializes the memories she collects from her friends through her Instagram account @transyfugas. For each memory rescued, she awards a scholarship as a way of historical reparation to her collective.
For more than a year she has dedicated herself to the fund "Apoyo en Vida" to raise awareness about the short life expectancy of trans women in Mexico. Your support will be received through this fund which is the only one of its kind in Mexico today.
Over time, Laura Glover wishes to benefit her community through the mutual recognition of their life experiences, thus alleviating the injuries that the first world and this white heterosexual capitalist system have produced on a historically vulnerable population.
The Apoya en Vida fund has been used for a year to pay rent for trans women who have been released from prison, fines for criminal charges, as well as emergencies for girls in street situations, drug addiction, illness, migration and old age.
