Our family garden

Hello, my name is Justine,

Every year, my fiancé and I grow a garden in our front yard with our children and neighborhood kids. We teach them how to grow fresh vegetables and give and trade produce with the 99% of our neighbors that do appreciate our hard work. Unfortunately, one bad egg ruined it for us all.

Today, the DPW was ordered to come and remove our garden beds due to one complaint made in March by a neighbor. When I called the DPW, I was informed that we were cleared on April 14th, but they still showed up today and removed everything from the curb to the fence in our backyard. Now we have a $2,300 fine

We at first felt defeated, but after some of our fellow neighbors' love and encouragement, we decided to rebuild. We have been contacted by members of the community on where they can donate, which is why I'm making this account. We are also accepting red bricks, cylinder blocks, or any garden supplies.

We appreciate the love we have received and can't wait to begin our new garden.
