Apartment Sponsorship with Hillcrest Kansas City

I am grateful to announce our partnership with Hillcrest Kansas City as an Apartment Sponsor for 2022. Hillcrest Transitional Housing serves local families who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Approximately 75% of the families served at Hillcrest are single mothers and their children.

As an apartment sponsor, we will support ~4 families during 2022. We will support these individuals/families who will live rent and utility free in a beautiful, renovated, and fully furnished apartment. Their food and toiletry needs will be covered during their time in the program. During their 90 days in the program, they will live on an "all needs/no wants" budget with counseling, maintain a full time job, and learn goal setting, and life skills. Our families will be supported on site by a Case-Manager.

Our $5,000 financial commitment will go towards housing and utility costs, healthcare for the entire family, GED training, haircuts, auto repair, emergency transportation, babysitting, tax preparation, and children's programming like tutoring, field trips, and summer camps.

For every dollar that is donated, The Bartelt Team and Bay Equity Home Loans will match dollar for dollar, ALL donations up to $2,500. I hope you will join me on this incredible mission to support our Kansas City community.

*Funds will be withdrawn from a personal account for Shelby Bartelt and provided via check to Bay Equity LLC for match. Bay Equity LLC will provide funds totaling $5,000 directly to Hillcrest KC.
