Visibility for Transgender women through fashion

Donation protected
We are building the first global sizing standard for Transgender women.

When developing a lingerie brand for Transgender women and queer femmes our founders discovered that there is nothing available in terms of standardised sizing, and so everything has to be built from scratch. Our aim is to define and build this and make it available as a global standard to be used throughout the fashion industry. Establishing visibility and inclusion for our often marginalised sisters in the Trans community. We truly believe Trans Lives Matter.

In 2019 Bok Goodall and Winn Austin started work on their lingerie brand Ms A London , which is designed and developed for Transgender women, queer femmes,  and anyone else that feels they would benefit from having lingerie designed and developed to fit their body. It quickly became apparent that there is no standard sizing available for this community and that all fittings and sizing would need to be created.

The delays caused by Covid-19 to the ability to fit and develop the brand allowed time to research the sizing further and Bok decided to go beyond lingerie, and work on developing a sizing standard that could be used by the fashion industry globally.

After spending months applying for grants and government funding to begin the research, being turned down and told that this research was not important, and that ‘standard non gender specific sizing should suffice’, we pulled our team together and are now looking for support from our LGBTQIA+  allies and role models to make this happen as quickly as we can.

My Size  is a community interest organisation that will research, develop, and generate a sizing standard that can be used as a global tool for the fashion industry, and by doing so will foster inclusivity and visibility of the Trans community. We will be working within the community to generate sizing and fits. We believe it is important to make this sizing standard as close to what is needed as possible and will work with focus groups and fitting groups to generate feedback and information to build the standard. All funds raised will be used to make this happen.

Anything you are able to donate will make a difference,  and you will be thanked by name on our website.

Please share this fundraiser with as many people as you can. We need to make this happen. Be a part of fashion history.

Thank you.
