Hello everyone, I am excited to share that I have made the decision to volunteer in Dawasamu, Fiji for four weeks this summer, specifically working with children. It has always been a dream of mine to contribute to a third world country and support children in need. Although I had some reservations in the past, I have finally gathered the courage to pursue this opportunity. I am thrilled about this journey and getting to meet lots of new people. To make this experience possible, I am currently fundraising for the community in Fiji and to cover the costs associated with the program. During my time there, I will be involved in various activities such as early childhood development projects, assisting with base duties, preparing meals for the community, teaching English to young children, and helping them find joy in their lives within their community.
