Anya and kids

My name is Moran Henn and I am organizing a fundraiser for my friend Anya Askew who is going through hell, coming out of an abusive relationship and trying to put her life back together while supporting her 4 children.

Anya and her amazing children are sadly no strangers to pain and hardship. Ava, Anya's daughter, was diagnosed with DBA at 5 weeks old and requires ongoing blood transfusions and hospital visits. Then, in 2015 the family lost their dad (Anya's husband) Todd to aggressive brain cancer.

Most recently Anya opened up to her friends and family that she has been enduring mental, emotional and most recently physical abuse by the man who married her and was called "dad" by her children. She has since left with the children and is working on healing and putting her life back together. She is mentally exhausted and is in need of support to get through this time in her life.

Anya is going through a tough legal battle, as well as suffering emotional hardship, PTSD and other daily struggles. I am calling on Anya's friends, and all of us, who say we want to support survivors of domestic abuse, and asking humbly to please help in whatever way you can.

Any amount will go a long way in providing the necessary relief for her to get back on her feet and support her children through this incredibly taxing and stressful time.
