Antigua and Barbuda Search and Rescue

The Antigua and Barbuda Search and Rescue (ABSAR) is non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives in Antigua and Barbuda. They provide 24/7 Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical assistance and Firefighting services in and around Antigua and Barbuda. They are run by a group of dedicated volunteers with extensive medical, marine, aviation and firefighting backgrounds. Based at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina, they treat over 1000 medical cases every year and provide support to numerous on-the-water events throughout the year. They receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations and annual membership fees. All funds raised on this site will be donated directly to ABSAR through Jonathan Cornelius, their Executive Director. So that others may live.
