Hello all,

I am very excited to introduce the first annual Anthony Saldaña Memorial Winter Supply Drive.

Quick to make a joke or share whatever he had, Anthony brought joy to everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. He was my neighbor and friend, and when someone threatened to attack me, he saved my life. Anthony died in his tent last year before I could return the favor.

In memory of Anthony's generosity and kindness, I am collecting donations and winter supplies to distribute to unhoused people in DC and Portland. All donations will go to food and supplies like tents, tarps, blankets, and jackets. If you would like to help avoid the 3% Gofundme fee, you can Venmo @jakob-hollenbeck. If you would like your money to go to anything in particular, please list it in the caption.

For more of Anthony's story, you can read his profile here and listen to Representative Dexter's remarks here.
