I will be swimming 21 miles across the English Channel, the Mt. Everest of marathon swimming, in memory of a fellow Port Authority of NY & NJ police officer, Anthony M. Varvaro. The Anthony M. Varvaro Believe Foundation was founded in honor of retired Major League Baseball player and Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Varvaro, who was tragically lost on September 11, 2022, while en route to protect the 9/11 Memorial Service at Ground Zero.
