Hi, my name is Josephine Van Schaijik, and I’m raising funds for my brother, Anthony Garreffa — a well-known and respected computer journalist at TweakTown.
On Monday February 23rd, Anthony suffered a stroke and is currently in hospital on a BiPAP machine with high blood pressure, and other medical issues.
Right now, we are waiting and praying for him to get better and regain any movement in his right side.
Anthony has dedicated his life to technology journalism, building a career and reputation through his passion, hard work, and commitment to the industry he loves. At this stage, we don’t know what the future holds. There is a real possibility he may never be able to return to writing again.
We are raising funds to help support Anthony financially during this incredibly uncertain time — to ease the burden of medical expenses, ongoing care, and to provide stability for his future.
Any contribution, big or small, means more than we can express. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing and keeping Anthony in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love and support during this devastating time.

Update on Anthony
We’re happy to share some positive progress with Anthony. He is now off oxygen, which is a huge step forward. He has been able to move his right hand and has even taken a few steps while walking, which has been incredibly encouraging for all of us.
Anthony is now eating puréed food and is slowly starting to try to talk. He is also able to understand and follow instructions, which is a wonderful sign of his progress.
He is doing so well and continuing to fight every day. We keep him in our hearts and are cheering him on as he keeps getting stronger.
Anthony is surrounded by so much love — his family and friends care deeply for him and are with him every step of the way.
Thank you all for your continued support, kindness, and positive vibes.
