People always say, “Just do it the right way.” But what happens when you do everything right and it still isn’t enough?

My uncle Eduardo followed every rule. He got his work permit, his Social Security number — he built a life here the legal way. He worked hard, paid taxes, and tried to give his family a future. And then, out of nowhere, ICE took him. No explanation. No chance to speak. No humanity. Just gone.

Now they’re demanding money or they’ll deport him to a place where his life is genuinely in danger. We’re terrified. He did everything he was supposed to do, and somehow he’s still being treated like he doesn’t matter.

It feels like no one cares. But we’re hoping someone out there does.
