Black Cat Society 2025 Spring Fundraiser

Tax deductible
Once again, it's "kitten season", the most critical time of the year for getting cats into forever homes. Welcome to the annual Spring Fundraiser for "The Home of Second Chances" - Black Cat Society, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) registered, state-licensed animal shelter dedicated to saving the lives of neglected, abused, and abandoned cats in the Greater Detroit area.

Every day, countless cats find themselves in unimaginable situations, waiting for someone to give them a second chance at life. At Black Cat Society, along with our rescue partner Pawsitive Cause, we believe that every cat deserves a loving home - and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.
Funds raised through this fundraiser will be crucial in helping us continue our mission. Your support will directly contribute to:
  • Providing daily care for cats in need, ensuring they receive excellent care and personalized attention from trained staff.
  • Covering food, litter, and shelter costs for the cats we rescue, allowing us to care for even more felines.
  • Enhancing our outreach efforts to educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of homeless cats.
The need for urgent support is real. The more resources we have, the more lives we can save. Working with the Black Cat Beanery cat cafe has allowed Black Cat Society to be incredibly efficient with their funds, adopting out a cat for every $78 donated to our mission.

By sharing this story and contributing to our cause, you are helping us create a brighter future for these vulnerable cats. Together, we can offer them the second chance they deserve.
