Once a year, we ask our supporters to donate so we can continue to maintain the high standard of care for BCB’s cats. For every $79 we receive, a cat finds their forever home. We take pride in being as efficient and impactful as we can with every dollar raised, ensuring it goes directly to providing comfort, safety, and care to the previously neglected and abandoned cats living at Black Cat Beanery.

So far we've given sanctuary and love to more than 210 cats that have gone on to find a forever home after staying with us. With your help we can ensure that we are able to continue to provide these beautiful souls with the care they deserve.

Black Cat Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization responsible for the care and health of the cats living at Black Cat Beanery. Any donations you make are 100% tax-deductible.

Once again, it's "kitten season", the most critical time of the year for getting cats into forever homes. Welcome to the annual Spring Fundraiser for "The Home of Second Chances" - Black Cat Society, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) registered, state-licensed animal shelter dedicated to saving the lives of neglected, abused, and abandoned cats in the Greater Detroit area.

Every day, countless cats find themselves in unimaginable situations, waiting for someone to give them a second chance at life. At Black Cat Society, along with our rescue partner Pawsitive Cause, we believe that every cat deserves a loving home - and we work tirelessly to make that a reality.
