2022 Ghostbusters Hook & Ladder 8 Fundraiser

Last year, Ghostbusters fans from around the world came together to raise money to donate a replica Ghostbusters sign to Hook & Ladder 8, better known as "The Ghostbusters Firehouse" in New York City. Having greatly exceeded our original goal, we were able to commission a full-size, weatherproof, professionally constructed sign. The firehouse now hangs this sign outside, year-round for fans to enjoy.

 

Based on the response last year, we determined that we would do an annual fundraiser for the firehouse. We have worked with the firehouse to determine something they need and this year, we are raising funds for a vending machine to be placed inside the firehouse for the crew to enjoy.

 

We have done some preliminary research and, as expected, there are many different options for vending machines (snacks, drinks, etc.) and also many different options for size and capacity of the machine.

 

Based on funds raised, needs of the crew, and limitiations on size of the machine, we will work with the firehouse to determine the best machine to purchase.

 

All funds beyond the goal will be donated to the firehouse. If we greatly exceed the goal, we will explore other purchases, based on the needs of the firehouse.
