Our beloved Annie, vibe setter at Borage from day one, is having their top surgery August 22nd. While under insurance, not all of gender affirming surgeries are covered, plus they will need at least 8-10 weeks recovery time. This fund will cover their expenses and time healing—and anything is appreciated!

Once Annie is healed, we’re planning on a celebratory ice cream social that all donors can come and be apart of. An end of summer celebration for community and Annie at Borage: Sunday, September 21st from 5-8! Bring family, friends, and enjoy a scoop of our cinnamon roll ice cream or one of Emma’s delicious vegan scoops.

Annie’s vibrancy is everywhere at Borage: they hung and wired our sound system, installed shelves, fixed anything we needed, put their heart and soul into our grab&go section while also being a bakery cornerstone; putting out pastries, keeping counts, and folding doughs. They genuinely do just about everything and Borage wouldn’t be what it is without them.

If you know them, you’re ride or die for them, and ya’ll, it’s time to ride for Annie. ♥️
