Annapolis Santa Run

COVID-19 has made the Annapolis Santa Run's traditional neighborhood collection events impossible. We wouldn't want to risk the health of Santa and his elves at such a very important time of year, and we certainly wouldn't want them to have to quarantine!

Sadly, it's not just Santa facing COVID-19 difficulties. Many families in Annapolis are dreading a very sad holiday season as parents face cut hours or have lost their jobs. Never have our kids needed extra holiday cheer and our collective love more.

The Annapolis Santa Run plans to spread our own brand of joy by working with community contacts to identify children in need and making sure each child gets a gift under the tree.

This year, instead of collecting gifts, we're raising money to purchase gift cards from Franklin Toys and Third Eye Comics. Both of these businesses have partnered with us to help our neighbors in need this holiday season.

What can you do to help? We need to raise $25,000 by December 11th, 2020, so we can give each child a $25 gift card they can spend on a new toy they really want.  We will distribute the gift cards on December 18th, 2020 so the kids have their gift in time for Christmas morning.

Please give generously to a local child in need. Your donation will grow into a much greater gift for the kids in our town.  The Annapolis Fire Department and Annapolis Firefighters Local 1926 thank you for your help.
