Dear friends,
We are reaching out to beg everyone we can think of to support Anna Demianchuk, a profoundly talented 26 year old Ukrainian pianist who needs our help in order to complete her postgraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Anna has absolutely no funding for the last two terms of her degree: college fees, housing, food etc as of the end of 2024.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference to her ability to pursue her studies.
Anna has faced many incredible challenges and completing her education will allow her to embark on her professional career with at least that precious advantage.
If you can, please click the link below to donate, or share it with others who might be able to help.
Some words and music from Anna are below.
Thank you for giving the matter some serious consideration.

Here is Anna, in Anna’s own words:
“Thank you very much for taking your time to read and considering to donate.
I never thought that I would find myself at the start of my career away from my home country. The start of the full scale invasion disrupted my education as I was completing my Masters at the National Academy of Music in Kyiv.
I had a very clear goal in mind; build my career in Ukraine as a pianist with the aspirations of taking it international.
Unfortunately the war tore my plans apart. I found myself as a refugee at Conservatoire de Paris where I completed my Masters degree, and now in my second year in the UK after completing my Postgraduate degree in piano performance at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
Whilst I have had to adapt to these changing circumstances, I’m now in a position where I’m forced to ask for help.
Your financial support will allow me to develop my performance ability; from continuing my professional development to paying for access to piano rooms - which is my only option for now as I am currently sleeping on a friend’s sofa, my piano stuck in Ukraine.
Since my first piano performance with an orchestra at the age of 10 I knew that I had found my voice - something special that I can share with the world. Since then, I have dedicated my life to my instrument with a single-minded determination to hone my craft.”
