We are so excited to share that we have officially started the adoption process again! While there are still so many unknowns, we know that God has it all under control. We don’t yet know who Baby is, when Baby will be home with us, or how every detail will unfold—but God knows. And we are so eager to see what He has in store!

This year has been filled with hope and anticipation as we prepare for our second adoption. Our home study has been approved, and we are now officially a waiting family! We’re trusting in God’s perfect timing and praying for the little one He has already chosen for us.

A few have asked how they can come alongside us on this journey. First and foremost, we would love your prayers—for us, our future little one, future baby’s birth mom, our adoption team, and everyone involved in the process.

If you feel led to support us financially, we’ve started a special puzzle fundraiser again. For each donation, we’ll write your name on the back of a puzzle piece as a tangible reminder of your role in helping bring Baby home. The completed puzzle will be framed in a double-sided frame and displayed in Baby’s room—just like Ella’s puzzle, which hangs in her room today. We look at it often and are reminded of the overwhelming generosity and love that surrounded us the first time.

The process of domestic infant adoption is complex, ensuring the ethical and legal safety of everyone involved. Nationally, the average cost for this type of adoption ranges between $30,000 and $60,000. Our goal is to adopt debt free again! Along with fundraising efforts, we are cutting back expenses to save, working extra as opportunities arise, and applying for adoption grants.

Where Your Support Goes: Your generous donation funds the essential services that make a secure adoption possible:

* Legal & Agency Fees: This is the largest portion, covering licensed agency overhead, professional case management, and legal counsel to secure the adoption and ensure all parties' rights are protected.
 
* Birth Parent Support: Funds go toward ethical and necessary support like counseling for expectant parents and, when needed, assistance with pregnancy-related medical and living expenses (all managed by the agency).
  
We have already covered the expenses related to our home study.

* Home Study & Placement: Covers the required rigorous background checks, home visits, and post-placement visits to ensure we provide a safe, stable home environment.

The generosity we’ve experienced through this process has deeply moved us—it has encouraged us to grow in our own generosity and to keep paying that love forward.
