Aniston Marie Kinley was born 10/29/2021 at 6:24 AM weighing 1 pound and was 9-inches long. Aniston has a long NICU stay ahead of her. Over the next several months, we as a family will be working to find a routine that pulls us from normal work/life schedules.
Richard and I cannot thank everyone enough for the outpouring of love, support, encouragement, and prayers. We would in no way be able to get through these without the amazing village of loved ones we have.
Thank you all so very much, from the bottom of our hearts. We will never be able to express how appreciative and grateful we are for each and every person that has reached out to us and/or our family.
****UPDATE****
They have been able to go down even more on her pressures and she’s at 54% on the vent. She’s sating in the mid to high 90s
She’s getting her third and final 2 month vaccine today and will get her next ROP exam on her eyes Monday morning. They will reevaluate on Monday and hopefully plan on extubation on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then, we are looking at probably three weeks of sipap/cpap before she is transitioned to the high flow nasal cannula. She will probably start off with 4 liters of O2 with the nasal cannula then when she gets to 2 liters she can begin trying to nurse. Once they can get her to low flow and down to around .25/.3 liters she can come home.
We are looking at probably another month and a half. She has had all good news today but the timeline that remains is so very overwhelming and the finish line seems forever away.
