EMERGENCY, Chilean’s wildlife are being dying by wildfire. The wildlife needs help right now.
Hi, my name is Carolina. I’m a Chilean Veterinarian living in Canada.
My country is being affected by enormous wildfires, many populated area, forests, and all the communities have been impacted. Chileans are powerful people who are used to experiencing natural disasters. Helping each other is our great power.
However, this time the situation escalated, and the resources were not enough.
Animals and wildlife are directly hurtes by the forest fires, and there are no government institutions with funding for their care, only small non-profit organizations such as Centro de rehabilitation y conservación para Fauna Silvestre Ñacurutú who depend directly on donations to help the wildlife. They receive animals from all the regions and help the community around them.
I ask for your help to support the Centre to going through this emergency.
The Medical Director, Cristian Herrera, is an devoted Vet who changed his life to found the centre and be there 24/7 for our loved wildlife.
Some species as the little monkeys of the mount, small marsupials; different species of birds; pudus, the smallest deer in the world, have been found with burns, fractures and dehydration. These animals need different medical care than cats and dogs, and only a few vets and volunteers are trained to help them. Furthermore, the centre always is open to help small animals, farm animals and community. All of them are part of the ecosistem.
The furry and feathery friends haven’t anyone else who can help them, and they are fundamental to our ecosystem.
The money that you donate will be used for the following:
* support the rescues
* medical treatments
* special diet
* Medical supplies
* build special facilities for their rehabilitation and afterwards reinsertion
